It has long been disputed that the current decade is actually the golden age of muscle cars, especially in America. In case you're still not convinced after seeing the likes of Mustang making a comeback in a whole new avatar, here is something else to think about - Or should we say drool about.

A Ford dealer in the state of Ohio is doing the unthinkable. The all new Ford Mustang, twin-turbo engine and capable of pushing a mind boggling 1,200 horsepower for a price tag of, wait a minute, only $44,499! Now that is a steal.

Lebanon Ford of Lebanon, the dealer in question has come up with an interesting name for the newly redesigned Mustang in question – LFP Hellion. If you are wondering what LFP stands for, it means Lebanon Ford Performance.

So here is the procedure for those who are wondering whatever happened here. First step, they will buy a brand new Mustang GT. Second step, they will add two 62 mm turbos with a set of Turbosmart VEE port bypass valves. In the third and the final step, they will add a large vertical dual inlet intercooler along with a black exhaust pipe. The final price of the modified Mustang GT also includes labor cost so you are all set.

Power and performance

Depending on the setting and the adjustment of the twin snails, you will notice an additional boost of about 5 to 30 pounds. The rest is up to the driver and the amount of thrill he or she is looking for. You may not be looking for any thrill though, you may just like how the engine sounds and how incredible the car looks. You buy groceries in this car just like any other car. If there is an emergency and you have to get somewhere quickly, well, you actually have the car that can pull that off.

If you compare the higher side of the figure, it will take you to the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport level, and if you compare the lower levels, you are looking at around 600 horsepower at the crank level.

As if all this was not enough, there is a second hellion package also available. All you need is an extra five thousand dollars, and you get a couple of performance units like the fuel pump voltage booster, another type of halfshafts, sterling fuel injectors, and improved oil pump gears.

The Mustang or Stang as it is called by fans around the world starts at around $33,000 in its present iteration. This is not the first time that Lebanon guys have worked their magic on Ford Mustangs.

Earlier last year, they came up with a different setup which offered 727 supercharged horsepower that was available for a price tag of a little less than $40,000. So you can say that they are kind of an authority when it comes to selling supercharged kits for Stangs.

Ford is really gearing up right now to launch the all new Shelby GT500 that is going to be unveiled in about 6 months from now. The Shelby GT 500 will be available to fans sometime in the 2018. If you are not able to wait that long and want to get your hands on a true beauty with a rich history to die for, you should go ahead for the 1,200 hp American muscle car. You may not want the red color though, the police are already going to give you plenty of attention. They may ask you where you bought it from!
