Ford “BlueCruise” Hands-Free Driving System to Cost $600 for 3 Years

 

Ford’s long-anticipated hands-free driving system has finally been given a name: Ford BlueCruise. Previously known as Active Drive Assist, the feature is expected to go live in the third quarter of 2021 for both the all-new 2021 Ford Mustang Mach-E and completely revamped 2021 Ford F-150.

 

This past Wednesday, Ford stated that the BlueCruise software can be activated via an over-the-air update and will cost $600 for a three-year subscription, in addition to the hardware costs that vary by vehicle.
