It’s size and utility have set it apart from the crowd from the start, and now it has achieved further success by officially becoming the most fuel efficient hybrid truck in America as well.

Ford recently announced its partnership with Redwood Materials, a successful battery materials company, toward working together to improve battery recycling and create a domestic battery supply chain for new electric vehicles. The blue oval company and Redwood’s collaborative goal is to improve the sustainability of electric vehicles, decrease the prices for batteries, and uniformly help electric vehicles become accessible and affordable for a greater number of Americans.

The new model comes with updated styling, bigger and more vibrant touchscreens, an updated suspension system, a new system for hands-free driver assistance, and two new trim levels that are expected to bolster the full-size SUV's capabilities, both on- and off-road when it debuts in the first quarter of 2022.

Ford Ranger fans, rejoice! Ford recently announced that its calling back to the mid-90’s with a distinctive and limited-series version of the Ford Ranger. First produced between 1993-1998, the new 2022 Ford Ranger Splash has just been revealed as a revitalized retro model of the 90’s edition with all the bells and whistles of modern compact pickups and a unique selection of color options.

The all-new 2022 Ford Maverick compact pickup was revealed to much acclaim earlier this month. In its first week alone, the pickup generated enough interest to prompt the submission of 36,000 reservations. Now, it appears those reservation holders won’t have to wait too long to take delivery of their all-new ride, as Maverick production is scheduled to begin on August 16, 2021.

The 2021 Ford Explorer may be the first Blue Oval vehicle to rock the all-new Timberline trim, but according to recent reports, it won’t be the last. According to Ford North America Product Communications manager Mike Levine, the Timberline trim is just the “First in a series of Timberline SUVs."

New Ford CEO Jim Farley is well-known as a classic car enthusiast, but champion-grade race car driver? Now that’s something else entirely.

Last week, Farley flew to California to participate in the Trans Am SpeedTour at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca series, which is organized by the Sportscar Vintage Racing Association, in order to celebrate a first-quarter earnings report that far exceeded investor expectations.

Ford’s long-anticipated hands-free driving system has finally been given a name: Ford BlueCruise. Previously known as Active Drive Assist, the feature is expected to go live in the third quarter of 2021 for both the all-new 2021 Ford Mustang Mach-E and completely revamped 2021 Ford F-150.

This past Wednesday, Ford stated that the BlueCruise software can be activated via an over-the-air update and will cost $600 for a three-year subscription, in addition to the hardware costs that vary by vehicle.
